You've stumbled upon my private journal. Whether you're a friend, or a stranger, welcome anyways.

As I just mentioned, this is a very private journal. I thought about starting over on Livejournal, but decided that was a bit harsh. Then I decided I wanted a place to post more personal entries. My other journal is public, and I would like it to stay that way. If you are in fact, a stranger, I suggest you head over to my public journal,

spokenwhispers. However, if you would like to get to know me a bit better, read on.

My name is Whitney. I am fourteen years old, and I will be fifteen soon. I know I sound young, but please don't throw me in with that teenage stereotype. Just because your age ends with 'teen' doesn't mean you're an immature little brat who constantly whines. We're people, just like the rest of you. I am also homeschooled, and again, more stereotypes. I am not remedial, and in fact, I was in a gifted class in elementary school. I am not kept away from society like most people figure, and I am not best friends with my family, with the exception of my mother who has always been my best friend.

A few other random facts; I am an only child. I am a pure blood, born and bred Oklahoma girl. I have brunette hair and green eyes, and wear glasses. I am a perfectionist. I am a Christian, and I won't be afraid to admit it. I'm not afraid to share my views; I am anti-gay marriage and anti-abortion. I despise racism and sexism; we are all created EQUAL. I am overall very insecure, lack self-confidence, and I have a very hard time opening up to people. I'm told I'm a great person to know, I just have a bit of a spiked-shell shield that I always put up at the last second.
